A native of Staten Island, New York and currently living in the Providence, Rhode Island area, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Philosophy at Villanova University. After college, I spent several years working along side my mother running the family home care business.
Overseeing the daily operations of a small business in such a heavily regulated field made me realize that I was the perfect candidate for law school. I went on to achieve my Juris Doctor from New York Law School and am admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.
I continued to run the family home care business as its principal for several years after law school following the passing of my mother, before turning my career focus to practicing law.
My experience in home care gives me a unique, first-hand perspective of the issues plaguing Seniors and makes me particularly empathetic toward the demographic. I understand on a foundational level just how costly affording long term care can be, and that is why both estate planning and Medicaid planning are so important to me.
Additionally, running my own small business for several years gives me the insight necessary to foresee the types of issues any small business may face, particularly during the start-up period, if their contracts and documents are not in order. I would like to prevent you from falling into the traps that may result from being improperly prepared when you launch your business.
